Well it’s been a long time coming getting this website up and running. Seems this year has been all sorts of “mind” growing experiences.

In the late winter of 2019 I made a commitment to “do what it takes” to become a Judy Niemeyer Certified Instructor. Have learned that the “Journey” is not one that will be accomplished overnight.. but taking each day at a time.. following and meeting the requirements will be worth the rewards.

I hope to keep you all abreast of my “Journey” and share the fun and the challenges as we go along.

Throughout the last half of 2019, I took workshops, classes, went away on retreats, to learn and grow in the area of Quiltworx Patterns. I had an attraction to the design elements, precision, and overall beauty of many of Judy Niemeyer quilt designs. After I made my decision to approach this as a future business through instructing, I enrolled in two workshops at the Quiltworx Retreat Center in Montana with Judy Niemeyer as my instructor.

My list retreat was in early March 2020 which was an unforgettable experience. My second retreat was postponed due to the pandemic and is to hopefully be rescheduled in early August.

I have spent the time “at home” making more quilts and working on my website. I have also learned to share my passions through my Facebook Group – “Sharing Our Quilting Passions” and also sharing with guilds and students virtual slideshows and lectures via ZOOM.

I launch this site with the goal in mind to share with others that love to quilt and share in the knowledge and efforts that I have learned. Please let me know if I can give you any tips… I love to Share!!
